Our Facilities

Precious Gifts Daycare and School Centre provides carefully maintained and child-centred facilities that support learning, play, rest and hygiene. Below are the main facilities we provide.

28 Modern Classrooms

Over 15 Modern Classrooms

Our classrooms are intentionally designed for young learners: spacious, well-ventilated and furnished with age-appropriate furniture. Bright natural light, clear sightlines for teachers and child-safe storage for teaching materials are standard. The layout supports small-group activities as well as whole-class instruction and encourages independence — children can access materials easily, move between activities and learn through hands-on experiences. Each room is organized to support the Competency-Based Curriculum and Montessori-inspired play: quiet reading corners, activity tables, display walls for learners' work and ample space for practical learning.

Teachers use these classrooms to create predictable, calm environments where routines and structure help children feel safe and confident. The classrooms are also adaptable — furniture and resources are adjusted to meet the needs of learners with diverse abilities so that every child can participate comfortably.

Therapy Room for Special Needs Support

Therapy Room

At Precious Gifts School, inclusivity and specialized care are at the heart of our approach. Our Therapy Room is a safe and welcoming space designed to support learners with diverse needs including autism, ADHD, speech delays, physical disabilities, developmental delays and sensory processing challenges.

The room is staffed throughout the day by a qualified therapist who works hand-in-hand with teachers and parents to ensure individualized attention. Using play-based therapy, sensory tools and guided exercises, children receive the care and stimulation needed to thrive academically, socially and emotionally.

Occupational Therapy (OT) in our facility focuses on helping learners build independence in their daily activities. Through structured exercises, motor-skill development, and sensory integration techniques, our occupational therapist supports children in improving coordination, balance, handwriting, self-care skills and overall participation in classroom tasks.

Speech and Language Therapy is also available to support learners with communication difficulties. Our speech therapist works on areas such as speech clarity, language development, social communication and feeding or swallowing challenges. Sessions are interactive, practical and designed to give children the confidence to express themselves effectively.

Beyond structured sessions, the therapy room also serves as a calming retreat for any child needing quiet time, emotional support or regulation during the school day. This space ensures every learner feels seen, valued and supported.

With a strong focus on early intervention and continuous support, the Therapy Room plays a vital role in nurturing children’s unique potential while fostering confidence, independence and inclusion in all school activities.

Science Lab

Science Lab

Curiosity and discovery are central to learning. Our science lab is a safe, supervised environment where learners conduct guided experiments, observe natural phenomena and practice basic investigative skills. Equipment and demonstrations are selected for appropriateness by age and ability — from simple sensory and cause-and-effect activities for younger children to guided experiments that teach observation, measurement and problem solving for older primary pupils.

The lab emphasizes hands-on learning and critical thinking. Lessons are teacher-led with focused safety procedures, and adaptations are always made so that learners with special needs can participate fully — often with one-on-one support or modified materials. The objective is the same: awaken wonder, encourage asking questions and help children learn how to test ideas in a safe setting.

School Library

Library & Computer Lab

Our library is a warm, inviting space filled with books and resources that nurture reading, imagination, and independent study. Learners enjoy quiet reading time, guided reading activities and opportunities for research that build strong study habits.

Alongside this, our modern computer lab introduces learners to digital literacy, programming and robotics in age-appropriate ways. From coding basics to hands-on robotics activities, children gain essential skills that prepare them for the future while strengthening problem-solving, creativity and teamwork.

Together, the library and computer lab provide a balance of literacy, research and technology for a well-rounded learning experience.

Playgrounds

Spacious Playgrounds

Outdoor play is essential for physical development and social learning. Our playgrounds are well-maintained, open spaces where children run, play group games, practise motor skills and build friendships. Equipment is age-appropriate, checked regularly and safety surfaces are used where needed.

The playgrounds are used for structured physical education lessons, free play periods and social games that teach teamwork, turn-taking and leadership. Supervising staff ensure safe play and activities are adapted so that every child — regardless of ability — can join in and benefit from outdoor activity.

Sleeping / Rest Room

Sleeping / Rest Room (Preschool)

For our youngest learners we provide a cosy, quiet sleeping room where children may take supervised naps during the day. The rest room is fitted with soft mats, low lighting and gentle ventilation to create a calming environment. Staff follow strict supervision and hygiene routines while children rest to ensure safety and wellbeing.

Napping routines are coordinated with parents to respect individual children’s needs and schedules. The rest room is kept clean and organised, and each child’s bedding and belongings are stored separately and handled with care.

Toilets and Washrooms

Clean Toilets & Washrooms

Hygiene is a top priority at Precious Gifts. Our child-friendly toilets and washrooms are designed for easy access by young learners and are cleaned frequently throughout the day. The facilities are scaled for children’s use and include hand-washing stations to encourage good hygiene habits.

Staff supervise younger learners during toilet routines when required, and we maintain strict cleaning schedules and checks to keep facilities safe and comfortable. We teach and reinforce hand-washing and personal care as part of daily routines.

If you would like to see any of these facilities in person or learn how we adapt them for children with diverse needs, please contact our administration to arrange a visit.
